Fujifilm Rolls Out Next-Gen Eluxeo Endoscopic Imaging System

Eluxeo 8000 touts 4K resolution, triple noise reduction tech (3NR), and extended dynamic range.

Fujifilm Healthcare Americas has launched its advanced endoscopy platform, the Eluxeo 8000 endoscopic imaging system. The single-unit processor and light source (EP-8000) has several features that boost endoscopic image quality, therapeutic capabilities, and workflow efficiencies, the company said.

Eluxeo 8000 touts 4K resolution, triple noise reduction tech (3NR), and extended dynamic range. This results in reduced halation, improved sharpness, and brightness optimization in both near and far fields.

The system also features a newly developed Amber-Red Color Imaging (ACI) light mode, which was designed to help detect bleeding sources and enhance noninvasive third-space endoscopy treatment by improving visualization of blood vessels in the submucosal space.

Eluxeo 8000 is compatible with Fujifilm’s 500-, 600-, 700- and 800-series endoscopes—covering the comprehensive range of core, double balloon, and interventional scopes. This is a departure from the industry’s traditional bundling of a new processor with new scopes.
